Beauty Fairy Make-Over presents these gorgeous beads. It would go so well with a traditional outfit. It's a bit too much for my personal tastes, but i like they way they look here - and the color is just right.

All Colory

I don't usually wear colors, much less green and blue together. But when i saw this Chemistry Boyfriend cardigan and blue Capri leggings on 3stitches, i imagined myself in them - really, i did. I'm planning leave the goth chick look behind for now, and focus instead on being all colory and springy...well, for now.

Dreamy Work Clothes

This is exactly how i want to start dressing to work. Exactly! Gucci read my mind when they were designing these fall looks! I wish i could just touch the clothes and they'd pop out of my computer screen and into my closet! Check them out here!

Finishing School

I have always wanted to go to a finishing school. This is mainly because it has seemed like fun ever since i watched 'A League of their Own' (where the female baseball players were learning how to be ladies). Also, i've wanted to know stuff about dining etiquette, names of different types of cutlery, and how to sit and talk right.

In a recent un-hurried search for this, i found the Graduate Finishing School being organised by Park Royal Group in Lagos, Nigeria. Unfortunately, i've missed this (since it started on the 1st of August, and is ending on the 29th), but i'll be on the look out for the next one. I simply must stop embarrasing myself during lunch meetings!

We live in an ultra-tech world, full of technology that may or may not mutate, become sentient, and go 'terminator', or 'i robot', or 'eagle eye' on us. The state of this information society has necessitated the use of mobile computer systems - laptops. The Jukebox

The JukeBox designed by Fendi was inspired by Karl Lagerfield's ipod case. Lagerfield actually claims to own 40 ipods. Beats me why he needs that many, but if you ever want to own at least a dozen, then the JukeBox is a pretty good accessory to have.

Be Simple

This white filippa k voile strap dress from Frances May is just lovely. Lovely mainly cause it is so simple. Also, the belt is a great accessory for a free dress like this. Imagine wearing this on a hot day in the tropics, the wind threatening to blow the skirt way up your thighs...nice.

How do you make distressed jeans? Easy. Buy a pair of jeans and go berserk on them with any or all of the following: a knife; bleach; razor; foot scrubber; cheese grater; nail file; scissors; box cutter; Bic disposable scissors; sandpaper; safety pin; and hack saw blade. How about we introduce this blog by presenting various definitions of fashion? There are two reasons for this: 1) this is a Very Important Blog about fashion and it follows that before we write anything about it, we should at least know how some Very Important/Smart People have defined fashion; and 2) we have absolutely no idea what to write about right now.

Thus, without much ado, we now present our first ever post…‘Definitions of Fashion’.

Encarta world English dictionary:
Fashion: Style in clothing, hair, and personal appearance generally, or the business of creating, promoting, or studying the latest styles

Fashion: the style of dress, behavior, way of living, or other expression that is popular at present

Fashion: A particular way of behaving or doing something
